Oyster trip in the Wadden Sea - At Marskture
Fra: 245.00 kr.
On 13 November 2021, we finally got serious about our wish to go on an oyster safari. The expectations were high and they were met in full :o) With Jan as an external competent guide, we were taken safely out to the oyster banks at dusk - only a few with water in their boots ;-). There was great time to collect oysters yourself, open them and taste them natural, and finally to have them spiced up with lemon and pepper / pickled red onion / gin, which Jan had brought. It is definitely a trip that will bring back happy memories in the future 🙂
Absolutely fantastic experience, provided by Jan who vividly and knowledgeablely guided us through a bit of the Wadden Sea and to a sea of oysters. After that we tasted the gold of the sea with different toppings. We liked the ones with gin and lemon the best 10 stars from West Jutland, the citizen of the world Ulla and the Copenhagener
We had a great trip. Our guide was very good at telling us about new initiatives in nature. Our oyster trip was enlivened by the knowledge we gained on the trip. Others should definitely sign up for such a trip. We are keen to make the trip next time we visit Rømø. We tested the instructions on how to cook oysters, and they are highly recommended.
Exciting oyster trip. Maybe just exciting enough due to a little too much water depth. But we heard about oysters and birds and the Wadden Sea. By Jan who certainly knew what he was talking about. And we tasted oysters natural and with different seasonings. Super inspiring. And we harvested many oysters to take home. Perhaps there should be a little warning about how easily you get stuck on the seabed on the way out.
Super trip, with a fantastic attentive guide. He had an eye for everyone on the team.
Super oyster tour with a very skilled guide, exciting preparation of the many picked oysters
The trip was in no way what I had imagined - but that did not make it any less of a fantastic and exciting experience. Really good stories about the mudflats and nature in the area, although when the knowledge is passed on with passion and a great geekiness. Wind, water and mud the team behind the tour cannot be blamed for. But we could understand that it was a bit extreme with the amount of mud - a little warning before ordering in general would probably have been a good idea.
A completely super experience 👌
